Korean War Special Exhibition <60 Para Field Ambulance>

Korean Cultural Centre India is honoured to invite you to their Virtual Exhibition titled ‘Korean War Special Exhibition <60 Para Field Ambulance>’.
The Virtual Exhibition will open on 25th June 2021 at 5:00 PM (17:00 IST) onwards, after which the exhibition will remain open for all.

The Photo Exhibition, showcasing 32 photos, is about the Korean War, highlighting the support that Indian troops provided to the war.
Owing to the pandemic we are not able to host you for an offline exhibition, but would like to take this opportunity to host you virtually.

[KCCI K-Insider Challenge] The 5th challenging topic of the series, K-Cinema & Drama scene description

Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) presents the 5th challenging topic of the event. We challenge and encourage you to express your creativity based on the scenes of any Korean cinema or drama.

Task : To describe any scene of Korean cinema or drama

Format: Video content

Prizes: criteria for the selection is based on the number of viewership and share
1stplace(1 person): Rs. 10,000
2ndplace(1 person): Rs. 5,000
3rdplace(3 persons): Rs. 3,000

Submission period : 14th June to 27th June
Evaluation period: 14th June to 4th July

Guidelines:
1. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
2. All the contents should be in accordance with the social media guidelines such as size and format. Entries will be disqualified if the format does not match with SNS post norms. Maximum limit of video is 5 min.
3. All participants are requested to follow the protocols of Covid 19 precaution.
4. KCCI would not be responsible if any entry is officially removed by each SNS managements due to copyright issues.
5. KCCI is free to modify and use the submitted entries for the promotional contents selectively.
6. All contents will be posted and evaluated on our social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.

KCCI Online Exhibition, Belle du Jour

Korean Cultural Centre invites you to Belle du Jour, online exhibition by Guruvinayak Singh Budhwar.

Belle du Jour translates to ‘Beauty of the Day’ and the theme can be found in Guruvinayak’s artworks.

Through this exhibition having the concept to explore talented local artist and support the one to flourish one`s talents,

the artist tries to rekindle the hope and instill positivity on to the viewers.

Going live from Monday, 21st June at 5pm till 21st August.
Opening session, ‘free talk with artist’ will be on 21th June 5 pm.

Daegu, a well-known city to produce k-pop idols of groups like BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, RED VELVET, SHINEE and others, boasts not only of it's 1000 year old Buddhist sites and traditional markets to vast green spaces and contemporary cafes along with two MICE exhibition halls promoting green energy, but also of amazing tourist must visit destinations.
It even boasts of the wonderful Donghwa temple located at the hills of Palgongsan mountain. The most distinct artifact of the complex is the monumental Unification Medicine Buddha statue that towers 17 meters above the temple grounds. Donghwa Temple’s architectural aesthetics, combined with its stunning natural surroundings, make it one of the most beautiful Buddhist sites in all of Daegu.

This is not where Daegu ends, it treasures the medicinal history of Korean Culture. It is where Yangnyeongsi market, the oldest oriental medicine market is located.

Cupping therapy, Acupuncture, Ginseng, Ssangwhacha, Herbal Medicine Foot Bath and Deer Antler are some healing remedies from Yangnyeongsi market.
Ssangwhacha is made by boiling a number of rare herbs and adding an egg yolk to garnish it.
