Course Details:

Course Objective:

To offer quality Korean Language Teacher’s Training to Korean language teaching aspirants.

Course Duration: September 2023 to February 2024

Course Curriculum:

A total of 7 Courses will be covered; the course titles are as below:

i. 한국어 교육개론 (Introduction to Korean Language Education)

ii. 한국어 교수법 (Korean Language Teaching Methodology)

iii. 한국어 어휘 및 문법개론 (Korean Vocabulary and Grammar Methodology)

iv. 한국어 평가론 (Korean Language Evaluation Theory)

v. 한국문화교육론 (Methods in Teaching Korean Culture)

vi. 한국어 교안작성법 (Methods in making Korean Language Lesson Plan)

vii. 한국어 교육실습 (Korean Language Training Practice)

Distribution of Classes:

A. Theory Classes

B. Practical Classes

C. Internship (Optional)

Lecture Schedule:

Lectures will be conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Detailed lecture schedule will be shared with selected participants.

Accommodations: Scholars will have to arrange their own accommodation during the programs

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria is as given below:

A. (Minimum Eligibility)

Bachelors in Korean from any University (India or Abroad).

OR

Bachelors (in any discipline) with Sejong Korean-5 completed.

OR

Bachelors (in any discipline) with Advanced Diploma in Korean Language completed.

B. (Desirable) Masters in Korean TOPIK Exam Certificate

Total Seats: Up to 30 students

Tuition Fees: Free.

Passing out Conditions:

Minimum 80% of Attendance is required for appearing in the Written Examination.

Minimum 75% of marks in Written Examination are required for appearing in the Practical Examination.

Minimum 75% marks in Practical Examination are required for successful completion of the course and Certification.

Note: Certificates will be awarded to successful candidates who have fulfilled all the above-mentioned conditions. Transcripts may be issued upon request.

g) Copy of Certificate of TOPIK Exam (validity no bar)

h) Copy of Certificate of any other Foreign Language

i) Copy of Certificates of relevant to work experiences, awards and/or other achievements

j) Copy of Certificates of Achievements and Awards related to Korean Language

k) Copy of Certificate of Korean Language Teacher’s Training/Workshop attended (if any)

l) Copy of ‘Reserved’ Category Certificate (if applicable)

Application Package (arranged in the order mentioned above) should be sent in PDF/JPEG format to klttpjnu@gmail.com with subject mentioned as 'KLTTP2023_Your Name' before 11:59 PM, Monday, 21st August, 2023.

Important Dates:

• 21st August, 2023: Last date for Online Application and Submission of Application Package.

• 25th August, 2023: Shortlisting of Candidates for Interview.

• 30th August, 2023: Interview of the shortlisted candidates (online/offline)

• 4th September, 2023: Announcement of the selected candidates’ list for KLTTP 2023.

Other Details:

• Final Selection of the candidates will be done by the screening committee as per rules.

• Personal email will be sent only to the Candidates qualified for Interview.
