Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI), Culture & Press Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea recruiting a PR Monitoring Officer..
• Job Title: PR Monitoring Officer (English-Korean Articles & Translations)
• Location: Korean Cultural Centre India (Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi)
• Type: Full-time/Part-time/Contract
• Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor Media: Research and track local articles, reports, and media coverage of Korea and provide/match the requirements.
2. Collect and Organize Articles: Gather relevant English and local language articles, organize them systematically, and categorize the content for internal reporting and analysis.
3. Analyze Trends: Identify and report trends or recurring themes in media coverage of Korea, and provide timely updates on the main agenda’s developments.
4. Liaison with Senior Team Members: Collaborate with senior officers to ensure timely and accurate reporting of findings.
• Requirements
1. Fluency in Korean: Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding Korean.
2. Interest in Media: A strong interest in media trends in relation to Korea.
3. Proficiency in English: Strong working knowledge of English, with good communication skills.
4. Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on small details, ensuring accuracy and consistency in content monitoring and reporting.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, track media outlets, and maintain detailed records of findings.
• Qualification
1. (Required) Fluency in Korean: Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding Korean.
2. (Preferred) Language Certification: Possession of a relevant Korean language or translation certification (e.g., TOPIK, professional translation credentials)
3. (Preferred) bachelor’s degree in communications, Media Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
4. (Preferred) Basic understanding of political and cultural issues related to Korea is a plus.
