Korean Cultural Centre India is delighted to invite you all to an art exhibition “Spontaneous Balance”. The exhibition encourages Korea-India art exchange for the audience to experience.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on 22nd March, 2022 (Tuesday) at Baek Nam June Hall, after which it will be open to the public from 23rd March 2022 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST) onward, until 20th May 2022.

Spontaneous Balance is an exhibition featuring artworks by two distinct artists, Jang Hee Mun and Shobha Broota, who show abstract expressions of reality through two diverse backgrounds and experiences. Their works are a subtle reflection of their cultures and experiences. Through their individual viewpoint, they use the balance and spontaneity of shapes to portray the world's order and disorder.

The artists’ works belong to two different cultures and traditions, however, both their works appear to be characterised by spontaneity. While Ms. Broota focuses on the portrayal of order as the true essence of beauty and devotion, Ms. Mun uses a direct and pure artistic approach to the raw aspects of reality.
