The 96th TOPIK exam is to be held on 13th October 2024, Sunday.


Please check the details given below thoroughly.


About the TOPIK Exam:

The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a written test designed to measure the ability of non-native speakers to express and comprehend the Korean language. This exam assesses proficiency in reading, writing, and listening comprehension in Korean.


The National Institute for International Education (NIIED), operating under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Republic of Korea is responsible for the overall management of the TOPIK exam.

Examination Venues and the number of seats:

• Delhi Exam Center: Jawaharlal Nehru University (230 seats for each test)

• Manipur Exam Center: Manipur University (100 seats for each test)

• Bengaluru Exam Center: CMR Institute of Technology (100 seats for each test)



Documents Required for Registration:

• Current passport size photograph in. JPG file format under 200KB.

• Signature in. JPG File Format under 100KB.

• Valid ID: Passport, Aadhar ID card, Voter ID, etc. (Photo, date of birth, name must be included, and the ID should not have expired)



Registration Details:

• The registration for the 96th TOPIK exam will be completely Online.

• The form link will open on 22nd July 2024 (Monday), 9:30 a.m.

• The forms will automatically close if the seats are full or by 10:00 a.m. on 30th July 2024 (Tuesday).

• Person(s) with disability must provide a medical proof.

• Please note the applications will be on a first-come-first-serve basis according to the seat limit for the three centers combined.

• Successful applicants will be notified via email about the payment procedures and other details after their application is successfully accepted. Kindly keep checking your emails from the very day your Google form is submitted, as all responsibility will fall on you if you forget to check your emails and miss the deadline.

Examination Information:

Entrance Time:

Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the exam.


Candidates should prepare the following materials:

• TOPIK Registration Card / Roll Number

• Valid ID Card (only the one submitted at the time of registration)

• Correction Tape/Whitener (if required)


Examination Fees:

• TOPIK I: Rs. 1,200/-

• TOPIK II: Rs. 1,500/-


Important Points:

• If a candidate has filled out the form but fails to make the payment by the due date, his/her application will be considered CANCELLED.

• If there is a discrepancy in the data filled in the application form with the information received in the payment forms (which will be sent later to the successful applicants), then that applicant's registration for the TOPIK will be cancelled.


Notes:

• Those who want to give both TOPIK I and TOPIK II must fill out both forms separately.

• The details in the form must be filled out correctly. Incorrect information will lead to the cancellation of the form. No wrong information will be accepted or corrected.

• Do not fill out the same form twice or fill out the same form for two centers simultaneously; otherwise, your application will be cancelled. [No requests will be entertained.]

• Once you are registered successfully and have paid the fee, you will be notified about getting your ID slip along with other required information through email. Please check your email regularly.

• Errors made by the applicant will not be corrected.

• Applicants must be careful and take precautions to avoid cheating. Any complications resulting from cheating or not taking precautions to avoid cheating will be the applicant's responsibility.

• The test may be cancelled if there are fewer than 10 applicants in any TOPIK level.

• Additional applications are not allowed outside the application period.

• Please keep checking your inbox and spam folders and keep the payment ready.

• The examination will be held at the notified test centers only.

• Requests for changing the exam centre after submission of the application are not allowed.
