Announcement of K-POP Contest 2021 Regional Round Rule and Regulations!

We thank all the audience for their continued support, and wish the best of luck to all the participants moving on to the Regional Round. 

Korean Cultural Centre India has successfully ended the Online Round and are now moving to the 2nd round of the contest, also known as the Regional Round. 

All contestants are requested to go through the Rules and Regulations and to reach out to their Regional Organizers or Korean Cultural Centre India if there is any confusion. 

The Regional Round will be starting from 23rd September, and the full schedule will be shared with you shortly! 

We invite you to join all Regional Rounds to cheer for the participants as they compete to be the representatives from their city for the Final Round.

REGIONAL ROUND RULES

Notice: To cooperate with the precautionary measure issued by Indian Government to control the spread of COVID-19 we request all participants to follow the measures implemented by your State Government.

 

 

  • GENERAL

  • Participants are not allowed to edit their videos in anyway. Regional Organizer are allowed to edit the videos if required, based on the instructions given by Korean Cultural Centre.  

  • Participants must record and submit their videos to their Regional Organizer within the time frame set by the Regional Organizer. Failing in doing so will lead to disqualification.

  • Regional Organizer can decide an action to be done by the participant to prove that video is recorded within the requested time frame. Failing to do so will lead to disqualification.

  • By participating in the contest, Participants agree and give their permission to all related parties to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape their performances, and to display, publish or distribute these works for publicity or advertising purposes.

  • Regional Round will be conducted in 20 cities.

  • Duration of song must remain the same.

  • Participants must cover 1 full song.

  • Participants are not allowed to use mics or instruments.

  • The number of performers should be the same as the Online Round video.

  • No surprise element can be added in the regional round.

  • Participants can perform same song as Online Round or choose a different song

  • The number of performers should be the same as the Online Round video.

  • No surprise element can be added in the regional round.

  • -Ability: 60%

  • -Expression and Pronunciation: 20%

  • -Stage Charisma: 20%

  • -Choreography(Composition, uniformity): 40%

  • -Technique: 30%

  • -Stage Charisma: 30%
