About the Production

Madhurakruta literally means charming one, another name of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna was an embodiment of divine love and is often the principle focus of Hindu Bhakti. When we say MADHURAKRUTA , Krishna is madhura as an infant eating butter, he is madhura as a young boy playing flute, he is madhura as cowherd, he is madhura when he is passionate with the maidens of Vrindavan, he is madhura when he killed evils, he is madhura in all his acts.

MADHURAKRUTA is series of beautiful songs, describing Krishna in various manner.

Few of the dance items are Vasudeva sutam devam; Mahabharata Shabdam - A piece taken from the episode of Draupadi Vastra Haran from the Hindu epic, Mahabharata; Dashavtara- Ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu; Chaliye Kunjanmo- A hindi bhajan, where naika (performer) is requesting Krishna to come to the garden and be together with her; Kunjan Ban- A meera bhajan
