2023 전인도 케이팝 경연대회 안내

The Korean Cultural Center India will host the '2023  All-India K-Pop Contest ' with   LG .

 This year, which marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and India, we prepared a venue for the K-Pop contest with great joy . We want to create a place where many people who love K-pop can showcase their passion and talent for K-pop to the fullest .

▶ Eligibility

Indian nationals who love K-POP who can participate in all contests ( foreigners cannot participate )

*  Individuals / teams who have won the K-Pop Contest held by the Korean Cultural Center India cannot participate.

* 2020 K-Pop Contest vocal category winners are not eligible to participate

 

▶ Winner's privilege

Opportunity to visit Korea  ( airfare / accommodation, etc. support )

▶ How to apply for online preliminaries

K-pop  song ( vocal / dance )  cover video and submit it to the website

▶ Information regarding online qualifiers

1.  In the online preliminaries, duplicate applications for vocal and dance are allowed . However ,  only once  per category

  Applicants must apply , and  from regional qualifiers, only  one category can be entered.

2.  Application for participation in the online preliminaries  is until 4:00 pm   on May 13 , 2023 , and  cannot  be applied after the deadline.

3.  Compliance requirements by sector are as follows

  • -Participation possible as an individual / team ( up to  13 people )

  • -Duration : 2-3 minutes ( 1 K-pop  song )

  • -Capacity :  within 300MB

  • -File format : MP4  or  MOV

  • -It must be filmed in high definition and the applicant's face must be clearly visible.

  • -Edited videos in any form cannot be submitted and must be filmed in one take.

  • -Videos must be shot in landscape mode

  • -Even if it is a song by a Korean singer ,  foreign language versions such as English are not permitted.

  • -Songs  must be 100%  original, no freestyle format allowed

  • -Studio recording and no microphones allowed

  • -The video must be of good sound quality and the participant's voice must be clearly audible

  • -No points awarded for playing an instrument

  • -Evaluation based on similarity with the original choreography

  • -The number of people on the team must equal the number of members of the covering group . Example )  In case of covering BTS,  there must be 7 members

 

4.  The winner of the online qualifier  must participate in the regional qualifier by selecting the region where he or she currently resides or is closest to the 11 regions below .

  ※  Regional qualifier venues :  ① Kolkata  ② Guwahati  ③ Bengaluru  ④ Bhopal  ⑤ Chennai  ⑥ Delhi  ⑦ Hyderabad  

                      ⑧ Itanagar  ⑨ Kohima  ⑩ Lucknow  ⑪ Mumbai

※ First regional qualifier : May 20 ( Sat )  , Kolkata  ( Other regional qualifier dates and specific venues will be announced later )

5.  In the following cases, the event may be disqualified at the organizer's discretion.

   -  If the organizer judges that it is inappropriate because it contains excessively obscene or provocative content

   -  If the application information is incorrect or does not conform to the form

   -  In case of non-compliance with previously announced regulations


6. Submitted videos can be edited / used for the purpose of creating promotional content for the Cultural Center.
